DUNCAN CONTINUES HIS DOMINANCE AT LAKEVILLE SPEEDWAY

After Charlie Duncan recorded his eighth win of the year at Lakeville Speedway in the Super
Late Model class on Friday night his familiar war yell echoed through the air as he stood atop his
Hall's Auto Sales number 240. When he was asked what he had found that no one else had discovered
he was very quick in thanking his car owner Leroy Hall and the very talented staff on the team. He
also stated that he hooked up with Donnie Moran for a little additional training and that is what he
owes his current success to. He went on to say that Randy Young has been doing a great job on track
prep and it has been a very enjoyable year for him to race at the Holmes County track. The bounty on
Charlie will continue into next Friday August 12th.and will be adjusted up to $260.00 above the weekly
purse if anyone can knock Duncan off the winning streak.

Duncan had won his heat and returned to the pits and drew a outside starting spot for the evening
finale. Kelly Kauffman had earned the pole position in his first appearance in a few years. Duncan showed
why he is number one as the green flag was dropped he bolted to the point and stayed there for the entire
event. Only a couple of yellow flags slowed the field as early in the race Mike Lonas was in the runner up
spot with Dennis Lunger Jr. chasing Lonas. Mark Banal worked very hard from the mid pack area to battle with
Randy Pollock as they were moving into the top five spots. At about the last two thirds of the race, Lonas
Banal hooked up in a fierce battle for second place position and with five laps to go Banal finally cleared
Lonas and set his sights on the leader. Time and laps negated any further chance for Banal as he was moving
very close to Duncan. Duncan sailed under the black and white first with Banal recording a runner up spot with
Lonas taking third,Pollock was fourth and Lunger was fifth after winning the other heat race.Banal stated after
the race that he wasnt sure he could of caught Duncan however his Smittley Towing entry really came alive in the
final few laps.

The Pure Stock feature had many twists as Todd Swim, Johnny Moore and Bob Daugherty retired early in event
due to tire or mechanical problem and Josh Miller cruised to his second feature win of the year and will be at
the top of the points chase along with Daugherty. Swim And Miller had earned front row starting spots after Swim
was the heat winner. Miller was never headed or even challenged for the entire event as he built a lage lead
in the familiar numer 93M. Denny Shear has been a very consistent contender this year and scored another second
place finish as Rob Metz was third, Tim Arnold took fourth and Daugherty was fifth. Swim was the winner in the
Crack The Whip event with Daugherty second and Johnny Moore third.

Jordan James won for the second time this year in the 4 Cylinder Bombers as Bobby Stamper was second, Chris
Priebe was third, Kevin Stamper took fourth and Steve Quicksall was fifth. Michael Rose was leading the points battle
however with his eleventh place finish, Bobby Stamper will assume the points lead by only three marker over Rose.

Steve Foley continues to roll to another track championship in the Classic Cruisers as he won his sixth of
the year over Pauly Hess, Jim Gerbasi, Sonny Flannery and Fred Patznick.
