Sadly Mother Nature has once again cut our points season short by one week. While we all would have loved to see one more night of action to settle these points battles, it's just not possible for a few reasons. First, the 16th annual Ohio Dirt Blowout is this coming weekend and it's not fair to throw a points race in the middle of a big show. Moving the Blowout back a week simply won't work either since the 305 Winged Sprints will be running their own season championship night that weekend at Fremont. Another huge concern is the weather. The later we schedule a show, the better chance we'd have for colder and wetter weather. Therefore, our only choice is to end the points races right where they were and gear up for the Blowout weekend hoping for better weather. We'd like to congratulate our 2011 champions and also salute all of the racers and fans that have supported Lakeville Speedway throughout the entire season. You racers put on some great shows all season long and made these champions earn their titles. THANKYOU!
